Analisis Daerah Rawan Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Pada Ruas Jalan Raya Pekanbaru -Bangkinang Km 20 - 60 Kabupaten Kampar

Abstract

Based on the data from the traffic accident reports of the Kampar District Police, there have been numerous cases of traffic accidents on the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang highway, specifically between KM 20 and 60. These accidents have resulted in material losses, minor injuries, serious injuries, and even fatalities. This study aims to identify and analyze high-risk areas for traffic accidents using the Accident Rate analysis method. The objective is to determine the Black Spots and Black Sites on the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang highway, specifically between KM 20 and 60 in Kampar District. The research methodology employed is a qualitative descriptive method based on primary data gathered from observations and secondary data obtained from relevant authorities (Kampar Traffic Police) concerning traffic accidents. The analysis results indicate that on the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang highway between KM 20 and 60, the identified Black Spot with the highest Accident Rate is the Sungai Pinang - Danau Bingkuang area, with an Accident Rate of 2.432. The next identified areas with high Accident Rates are Rimbo Panjang - Sungai Pinang and Koto Tibun - Air Tiris, with Accident Rates of 1.326. Regarding the Accident Rate for Black Sites, the highest value is found in the Sungai Pinang - Danau Bingkuang area with an Accident Rate of 0.304, followed by Koto Tibun - Air Tiris with an Accident Rate of 0.265. Additionally, Rimbo Panjang - Sungai Pinang and Kampar - Koto Tibun have the same Accident Rate of 0.256. From the analysis results, it can be concluded that the areas considered high-risk or Black Sites due to their Accident Rates exceeding 0.3 on the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang highway between KM 20 and 60 are specifically located in the Sungai Pinang - Danau Bingkuang area, between KM 25 and 30
