Analisis Penerapan Green Building pada Bangunan Gedung Rektorat Universitas Pahlawan

Abstract

Green building is an approach to designing, constructing, and operating buildings that considers their impact on the environment and human health. Based on that, it is necessary to analyze the concept of environmentally friendly buildings in the Rectorate Building of Pahlawan University, to find out the extent of the application of the concept of environmentally friendly buildings in the Rectorate Building of Pahlawan University, an evaluation of the level of assessment or rating of green buildings that are applied is carried out. This research aims to analyze the application of green building and the resulting benefits. The research methods used are literature review and case study. From the literature review, there are various relevant sources such as scientific journals, articles and research reports that can be used to obtain information about green building concepts and practices. The case study was conducted at the Rectorate Building of Pahlawan University by analyzing several buildings that have been built and are operating. Using the Greenship Existing Building version 1.1 standard from GBCI. Greenship EB 1.1 has 6 (six) standards, namely appropriate land use, energy efficiency and management, water management, material cycles and resources, indoor air quality and building environment management. The results of the analysis show that the application of green building is still not fulfilled due to the lack of benchmarks available. Recommendations include the use of more environmentally friendly construction materials, the implementation of more effective energy saving systems, the use of more advanced water management technologies, and improvements in waste management.
