Abstract

Tujuan Besarnya potensi wisata bahari di Tapanuli Tengah, khususnya di Kabupaten Pandan, dapat menjadi landasan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di kawasan wisata tersebut. Penelitian ini menyelidiki berbagai faktor untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang efektif untuk pengembangan UMKM di destinasi wisata di Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah 140 pelaku usaha UMKM dan wisatawan sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian campuran, termasuk penggunaan data kuantitatif yang didukung data kualitatif. Metode khusus penelitian yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang signifikan: aspek destinasi dengan nilai 0,940, partisipasi pariwisata dengan nilai 0,965, dan dukungan pemerintah dengan nilai 0,980. Dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktural, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dimensi-dimensi seperti pelaku usaha, partisipasi pariwisata, motivasi, dan dukungan pemerintah mempunyai pengaruh yang dapat dipercaya terhadap dimensi-dimensi potensi, yang pada akhirnya membentuk perkembangan pariwisata. Aspirasi agar wisatawan dapat memanfaatkan fasilitas dan layanan yang diberikan oleh UMKM untuk tumbuh secara global menuju pembangunan berkelanjutan.
