Abstract

In fulfilling life's needs, humans will always produce residual waste. One of them is in the form of waste, both organic waste and inorganic waste. Garbage that continues to accumulate from day to day can cause air pollution, land pollution, water pollution, damage the aesthetics of an area, and even become a source of disease for local residents. The inverse comparison that occurs between the quantity of waste increasing every day, but minimal waste decomposition, one of which occurs in the Bangkinang Kota District Area. Waste in the Bangkinang City District area is separated between organic and non-organic waste so that it can be managed wisely so that it can be utilized to increase economic resources, and can hone skills in producing waste. Waste sorting using a pattern of empowering parents through a social marketing approach needs to be socialized and training provided to parents and children so that they have deeper abilities to manage waste.
