Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana tokoh perempuan mendekonstruksi kuasa patriarki atas lingkungan dan perempuan melalui perspektif ekofeminisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan ekokritisisme. Avatar The Last Airbender melalui Episode The Painted Lady menunjukkan bagaimana etika ekofeminisme dapat melahirkan keseimbangan ekologis.Tokoh Katara digambarkan sebagai perempuan yang melakukan perlawanan terhadap dua dominasi kekuatan sekaligus, yaitu patriarki dan hegemoni kapitalisme. Melalui pengembangan karakter Tokoh Katara, ATLA menjadi sarana untuk mengkritik sistem patriarki dan pandangan antroposentris.Downloads
