Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku adiksi internet terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam membaca referensi ilmiah biologi. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2019-2021 yang sedang kuliah aktif. Yaitu 165 mahasiswa. Sampel ditentukan dari teknik simple random sampling menggunakan rumus slovin dengan jumlah 117 mahasiswa. Instrument berupa angket yang digunakan skala likert. Data diolah dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa rhitung (0,000) lebih kecil dari rtabel (0,390.) artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikansi antara perilaku adiksi internet terhadapminat mahasiswa dalam membaca referensi ilmiah biologi di Jurusan Tadris Biologi IAIN Kerinci.
