HUBUNGAN DIABETES MELITUS DAN TINGKAT STRES DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS RAWAT INAP KEDATON BANDAR LAMPUNG 2021

Diabetes melitus dan hipertensi merupakan penyakit kronis yang biasa terjadi bersamaan. Prevalensi tinggi dari angka bisa jadi hipertensi pada penderita dengan diabetes melitus merupakan faktor risiko 4 hingga 5 kali, dan menyebabkan kematian penyakit stroke dan jantung koroner. Hipertensi merupakan faktor yang dapat mengakibatkan komplikasi mikro dan makro vaskular pada penderita diabetes melitus. Faktor yang mempengaruhi penyakit hipertensi yakni tidak ada kontrol diet teratur, stres, kurang berolah raga, kebiasaan merokok, dan gangguan tidur atau kualitas tidur yang tidak normal. Stres dapat meningkatkan resistensi pembuluh darah perifer dan curah jantung sehingga dapat merangsang aktivitas saraf simpatis. Stres dianggap faktor psikologis yang dapat meningkatkan tekanan darah. Jika kondisi ini terus menerus dalam kurun waktu yang lama tanpa perawatan yang tepat dapat mengakibatkan tekanan darah tinggi akan sulit dikendalikan. Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan diabetes melitus dan tingkat stres dengan kejadian hipertensi di Puskesmas Rawat Inap Kedaton Bandar Lampung Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Dengan metode survey analitik dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Didapatkan sampel penelitian sejumlah 95 responden. Angka kejadian hipertensi berjumlah 62 orang (65,3%) dan yang tidak hipertensi sebanyak 33 orang (34,7%). Angka kejadian diabetes melitus sebanyak 63 orang (66,3%), tidak diabetes melitus sebanyak 32 orang (33,7%). Hubungan diabetes melitus dengan hipertensi diperoleh p=0,000 (p<0,05). Hubungan tingkat stres dengan hipertensi diketahui p=0,580 (p>0,05).  Kata kunci: Diabetes melitus, hipertensi, stres  ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus and hypertension are common chronic diseases occur simultaneously. The high prevalence of hypertension in patients with diabetes mellitus is a risk factor of 4 to 5 times, and causes death from stroke and coronary heart disease. Hypertension is a factor that can cause micro and macro vascular complications in people with diabetes mellitus. Factors that influence hypertension are no regular diet control, stress, lack of exercise, smoking habits, and sleep disturbances or abnormal sleep quality. Stress can increase peripheral vascular resistance and cardiac output so that it can stimulate sympathetic nerve activity. Stress is considered a psychological factor that can increase blood pressure. If this condition continues for a long time without proper treatment, it can cause high blood pressure to be difficult to control. The aim is to establish the correlation between diabetes mellitus and stress levels with the incidence of hypertension at the Inpatient Health Center of Kedaton in Bandar Lampung 2021. This study involved quantitative research method using a cross-sectional design with an analytical survey method. Sample is 100 respondents. The incidence of hypertension was 62 people (65,3%) and 33 people (34,7%). The incidence of diabetes mellitus was 63 people (66,3%), without diabetes mellitus as many as 32 people (33,7%). The correlation between diabetes mellitus and hypertension was obtained p= 0.000 (p <0.05). The correlation between stress levels and hypertension is known to be p=0.580 (p>0.05).  Key Word: Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, stress.Downloads
