Epilepsi resistensi obat merupakan kondisi dimana seseorang masih mengalami bangkitan meskipun telah mendapatkan dua atau lebih obat antibangkitan yang sesuai dan ditoleransi baik. Berbagai patomekanisme dan faktor risiko yang diduga mendasari terjadinya resistensi obat termasuk faktor genetik dan etiologi epilepsi perlu ditelusuri lebih lanjut untuk dapat melakukan diagnosis dan tata laksana yang lebih efisien bagi pasien epilepsi.References
