PERBANDINGAN DISTORSI RADIOGRAF PERIAPIKAL, BITEWING DAN PANORAMIK DALAM DETEKSI KAVITAS PROKSIMAL

Pencitraan diagnostik membutuhkan gambaran radiografi dengan keakuratan yang tinggi. Seringkali terdapat perbedaan antara ukuran sebenarnya dari struktur anatomi pasien dan representasinya pada gambaran radiografi berupa distorsi geometri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya distorsi dari radiografi periapikal, bitewing, dan panoramik dalam mendeteksi kavitas proksimal dengan menggunakan Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) sebagai acuan. Empat gigi permanen manusia yang diekstraksi dilakukan eksposur menggunakan phospor plate system (Origo Express, Instrumentarium Dental, Tuusula, Finlandia) dengan digital bitewing intraoral dan periapikal teknik paralel. Program panoramik bitewing dan CBCT diperoleh dengan menggunakan unit sinar-X Digital Panoramic dan CBCT OrthopantomographTM, OP300 Maxio (Instrumentarium Dental, Tuusula, Finlandia). Semua gambar dievaluasi tiga kali menggunakan perangkat lunak Fiji ImageJ. Sebanyak delapan permukaan proksimal dinilai. Jarak horizontal, jarak vertikal, dan luas kavitas dihitung. Skor yang diperoleh dari ketiga teknik tersebut dibandingkan dengan gold standard CBCT menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson. Korelasi terkuat pada variasi jarak horizontal A sebesar 0,728 untuk intraoral bitewing, pada jarak vertikal dan luas area sebesar 0,632 dan 0,869 untuk periapikal. Sedangkan pada variasi B korelasi paling kuat terdapat pada jarak horizontal sebesar 0,670, vertikal sebesar 0,341, dan luas area sebesar 0,916 untuk panoramik.Radiografi periapikal yang diikuti dengan intraoral bitewing lebih unggul dibandingkan panoramik program bitewing dalam mendeteksi kavitas proksimal.References
