PROFIL CANDIDA ALBICANS PADA SPUTUM LANSIA DI PANTI SOSIAL TRESNA WERDHA NIRWANA PURI SAMARINDA TAHUN 2023

Candida albicans merupakan jamur golongan khamir bersifat dimorfik yang dapat membentuk ragi, pseudohifa, dan hifa semu serta merupakan flora normal pada tubuh manusia. Jamur ini dapat bersifat patogen apabila terdapat faktor risiko. Jamur ini dapat ditemukan pada saluran pernapasan manusia seperti paru-paru, sehingga dapat menyebabkan mikosis. Lansia rentan terinfeksi mikroorganisme khususnya jamur karena penurunan imunitas tubuh, massa tubuh, dan fungsi tubuh. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jamur C.albicans pada sputum lansia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Nirwana Puri Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 30 sputum. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi sputum bersifat purulent, mukopurulent, dan mukoid. Pemeriksaan ini diinkubasi pada suhu ruang dan suhu 40ºC selama 48 jam dengan menggunakan biakan Saboraud Dextrose Agar (SDA), dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan menggunakan pewarnaan langsung dengan larutan pewarna Lactophenol Cotton Blue (LPCB), yang dilanjutkan uji konfirmasi C.albicans dengan pemeriksaan Germ Tube, dan uji menggunakan media Chrom Agar. Analisa data secara univariat dengan jenis data yaitu data primer. Hasil penelitian pertumbuhan jamur Candida sp pada suhu ruang dan suhu 40ºC yaitu 29 (97%), sedangkan pertumbuhan C.albicans lebih mendominasi pada suhu 40ºC yaitu 17 (58%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa didapatkan pertumbuhan jamur C.albicans sputum lansia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Nirwana Puri Samarinda.References
