PENGARUH DIABETES DISTRESS DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA TERHADAP KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2 DI KECAMATAN JEREWEH

Jumlah kasus diabetes di Indonesia mencapai 19,5 juta kasus, dengan prevalensi 7,11%. Kasus ini diproyeksikan akan naik hingga 28,6 juta kasus pada tahun 2045. Kecamatan Jereweh memiliki cakupan skrining tertinggi di Sumbawa Barat. Tetapi, cakupan SPM pasien diabetes di Kecamatan Jereweh masih rendah, yaitu 31%. Artinya, masih banyak pasien diabetes yang belum melakukan pengobatan rutin. Dalam pengendalian dan perawatan diabetes mellitus tipe 2, ada beberapa faktor yang perlu diperhatikan, salah satunya adalah kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana diabetes distress dan dukungan keluarga mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah observasional analitik, dengan rancang bangun menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Kecamatan Jereweh. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner yang disusun menggunakan instrumen baku untuk mengukur variabel kualitas hidup, dukungan keluarga, dan diabetes distress. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square, regresi linear, dan regresi logistik. Ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari diabetes distress, dukungan keluarga, lama menderita diabetes, pekerjaan, dan jenis kelamin terhadap kualitas hidup pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di Kecamatan Jereweh, dengan p-value hasil regresi sebesar 0,009; 0,0001; 0,011; 0,048; dan 0,0001 (<0,05). Diabetes distress dan dukungan keluarga secara bersamaan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien. Dalam menyusun intervensi, perlu diperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien, agar pengobatan pasien bisa berjalan dengan efektif. Intervensi berupa bimbingan dan konseling psikologis terutama sangat dibutuhkan pada fase awal pengobatan diabetes pasca diagnosis.References
