DETERMINAN BERAT BADAN LAHIR TERHADAP PREVALENSI UNDERWEIGHT PADA ANAK BALITA UMUR 12-59 BULAN DI DESA KARAMPI KECAMATAN LANGGUDU KABUPATEN BIMA

Underweight masih menjadi permasalahan di Indonesia. Underweight merupakan masalah gizi multidimensi yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai macam faktor. Underweight akan berdampak negatif terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta dapat meningkatkan angka kesakitan dan kematian anak. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di Desa Karampi Kecamatan Langgudu Kabupaten Bima. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan januari sampai april tahun 2024. Metode penelitian kualitatif desain Observational Analytic dengan rancang bangun Cross-Sectional. Populasi sebanyak 244 orang Anak Balita Umur 12-59 Bulan di Desa Karampi Kecamatan Langgudu Kabupaten Bima. Sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Pengolahan data berupa penyuntingan data (editing), pengkodean data (coding) dan memasukkan data (entri data). Analisis data menggunakan univariat, bivariat dan chi-square test. Variabel independen yaitu berat badan lahir, sementara variabel dependen adalah prevalensi underweight anak balita umur 12-59 bulan. Distribusi berat badan lahir anak balita umur 12-59 bulan sebagian besar < 2500 gr yaitu 0.4%, sedangkan distribusi tinggi badan lahir anak balita umur 12-59 bulan Sebagian besar < 48 cm yaitu sebesar 3.7%. sedangklan hasil distribusi prevalensi Underweight anak balita umur 12-59 bulan sebagian besar berat badan normal < 48 cm yaitu 11.1%. Berat badan lahir < 2500 gr dengan prevalensi underweight sebagian besar memiliki berat badan normal yaitu 0.4 % berdasarkan hasil chi square test terdapat hubungan antara berat badan lahir dengan prevalensi underweight dengan nilai signifikansi 0.045.References
