KARAKTERISTIK KEJADIAN MATI MENDADAK PADA USIA MUDA : LITERATURE REVIEW

Menurut Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO), kematian mendadak mengacu pada kematian yang terjadi dalam waktu 24 jam setelah timbulnya gejala, namun dalam beberapa kasus forensik, sebagian besar kematian mendadak terjadi dalam beberapa menit atau bahkan detik setelah gejala pertama muncul. Kematian jantung mendadak dapat terjadi pada semua kelompok umur, termasuk orang muda. Kematian mendadak pada usia muda selalu merupakan salah satu peristiwa tragis dan menyedihkan bagi keluarga dan masyarakat pada umumnya, sebab biasanya terjadi pada orang yang tampaknya sehat. Tujuan dari tinjauan literatur ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristi kejadian mati mendadak pada usia muda. Menggunakan Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Literature Review atau tinjauan pustaka. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “mati mendadak, “usia muda”. Telusuri Internet untuk artikel penelitian ini dilakukan melalui dengan mengakses seperti Google Scholar, Pubmed, dan ScienceDirect. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 jurnal meunjukkan bahwa kematian mendadak dapat terjadi pada segala usia. Namun pada usia muda kejadian paling banyak ditemukan yaitu pada kategori umur produktif yakni 25-35 tahun. Dimana laki-laki memiliki tingkat kejadian mati mendadak yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan populasi perempuan yang sesuai usia. Dan sebagian besar penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab utama kematian mendadak adalah akibat kardiovaskular.References
