MANAJEMEN PENGENDALIAN INFEKSI PADA BEDAH ORAH DAN MAKSILOFASIAL DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 : SCOPING REVIEW

Berbagai bidang kedokteran gigi di masa pandemi COVID-19 berupaya untuk menekan angka penyebaran, salah satunya bidang bedah mulut dan maksilofasial. Bidang ini kerap melakukan berbagai prosedur dengan resiko tinggi dan menghasilkan aerosol sehingga meningkatkan resiko terkontaminasinya lingkungan kerja. Kontrol infeksi menjadi kunci utama dalam hal menekan angka penyebaran virus SARS-CoV-2. Mengetahui manajemen kontrol infeksi pada bidang kedokteran gigi terutama pada bidang bedah mulut dan maksilofasial dalam melakukan perawatan kedokteran gigi selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelusuran pustaka pada database Google Scholar, ScienceDirect dan Elsevier menggunakan kriteria PCC (Population, Concept, dan Context) dengan berpedoman pada PRISMA. Kriteria inklusi yaitu artikel dengan desain studi observasional deskriptif, atau observasional analitik yang membahas tentang manajemen pengendalian infeksi di bidang bedah oral dan maksilofasial pada masa pandemi COVID-19 yang dipublikasikan selama 3 tahun terakhir dan artikel ditulis dalam bahasa inggris. Kriteria eksklusi yaitu artikel yang tidak dapat diakses, jurnal dengan tahun terbit di bawah 2020 atau sebelum pandemi. Dari total 4.350 artikel yang ada pada database Google Scholar, terdapat 3 artikel yang disertakan dalam penelitian ini yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi, disertai 2 artikel tambahan dari ScienceDirect dan Elsevier. Masing-masing artikel membahas tentang tata cara pengendalian infeksi dalam bidang bedah mulut dan maksilofasial selama melakukan perawatan pada saat pandemi COVID-19. Bidang Bedah mulut dan maksilofasial sudah cukup baik dalam melakukan pengendalian infeksi berupa screening pasien sebelum dilakukan perawatan dan juga menggunakan APD. Pandemi ini juga menyoroti pentingnya telemedicine dalam memberikan perawatan gigi selama masa krisis.References
