Abstract

Tumbuhan memiliki banyak sekali potensi sebagai sumber daya alam bagi kebutuhan makhluk hidup di bumi ini. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan beberapa ilmu pengetahuan dan penelian agar dapat merasakan manfaat dari kekayaan alam ini. Instrumen merupakan suatu alat yang saat ini dikembangkan untuk meliti berbagai macam khasiat tanaman salah satunya spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Flavonoid dalah zat alami yang memiliki sifat antibakteri dan antioksidan. Metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis digunakan untuk menganalisis kandungan flavonoid berdasarkan nilai absorbansinya. Beberapa penelitian menyajikan hasil analisis kuantitatif kandungan flavonoid pada berbagai sampel jaringan. Dalam hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode ekstraksi yang menggunakan etanol dan soxletasi merupakan cara yang efektif untuk mengekstrak flavonoid. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana kadar flavonoid total pada berbagai macam tumbuhan yang tersebar di seluruh indonesia. Dengan menggunakan intrumen spektrofotometri UV-Visible. Hasil menujukkan bahwa flavonoid memiliki aktifitas antioksidan dan pada kompleks flavonoid-aluminium untuk-perkawinan yang memiliki panjang gelombang serapan maksimum 415 nm, kandungan flavonoid tergantung pada jumlah elektron dalam molekul, dan metode ekstraksi juga mempengaruhi jumlah flavonoid yang dihasilkan.
