IDENTIFIKASI RISIKO PENYEBAB KEKURANGAN ENERGI KRONIS (KEK) PADA IBU HAMIL DI WILAYAH PUSKEMAS KARANG INTAN 2, KABUPATEN BANJAR

Kekurangan Energi Kronis (KEK) merupakan masalah nutrisi yang terjadi pada ibu hamil dalam jangka waktu yang lama yang mana diukur dengan lingkar lengan atas kurang dari 23,5 cm dan indeks masa tubuh (IMT) <18,5 kg/m2. Hal tersebut tidak hanya mencerminkan status gizi, melainkan juga kesehatan dan kesejahteraan anak di masa mendatang. KEK dapat mengakibatkan berbagai permasalahan kesehatan baik pada ibu selama kehamilan maupun pada janin. Banyak faktor dan risiko yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya KEK. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi risiko yang dapat menyebabkan kekurangan energi kronis pada ibu hamil di wilayah Puskesmas Karang Intan 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan September 2022 di 13 Desa Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Karang Intan 2, Kecamatan Karang Intan, Kabupaten Banjar, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 46 ibu hamil dengan KEK. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan oleh bidan desa yang berperan sebagai enumerator menggunakan alat ukur yakni kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis univariat yaitu distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa ibu hamil yang memiliki risiko untuk menyebabkan KEK sebesar 23 orang (50%). Dengan demikian, sebagian ibu hamil yang mengalami KEK berisiko disebabkan oleh perubahan pola makan, pantangan makan, dan kurangnya ketersediaan informasi mengenai nutrisi. Peran tenaga kesehatan diperlukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor risiko yang dapat menyebakan KEK pada ibu hamil.References
