EVALUASI EFEKTIVITAS ANALGESIK JAMU “X” PADA MENCIT SWISS WEBSTER

Jamu X merupakan jamu yang popular digunakan untuk meredakan nyeri. Jamu menjadi alternatif pengobatan dengan efek samping minimal. Akan tetapi belum ada penelitian terkait pengujian aktivitas analgesik jamu X. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas analgesik dan mengetahui dosis efektif analgesik jamu X pada mencit yang diinduksi asam asetat 1%. Mencit uji dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol negatif (CMC-Na 0,5% b/v), kontrol negatif induksi (CMC-Na 0,5% b/v dan asam asetat), kontrol positif (asam mefenamat 65 mg/kg BB), kelompok uji jamu X dengan konsentrasi dosis 39 mg dan 78 mg. Efektivitas analgesik jamu X dapat ditentukan dengan melihat refleks geliat seperti kepala dan kaki meregang, dan perut menyentuh dasar kandang setelah diinduksi asam asetat 1%. Gejala ini dapat dihilangkan dengan analgetik. Data hasil uji dianalisis secara statistik dengan menggunakan software SPSS 26. Didapatkan persentase proteksi kontrol negatif CMC-Na yakni 0%, kontrol positif asam mefenamat yakni 54,76%. Untuk persentase proteksi efektifitas analgesik jamu X dosis 39 mg yakni 11,5% dan dosis 78 mg yakni 33,5%. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh simpulan pada dosis 78 mg jamu X pada mencit memiliki persentase proteksi tertinggi yakni sebesar 33,5%. Oleh karena itu, efektivitas jamu X dalam mengatasi nyeri pada mencit yang diinduksi asam asetat 1% berada pada dosis 39 mg.References
