HUBUNGAN HIPERTENSI DENGAN TINGKAT MORTALITAS PASIEN COVID-19 DI RSUD DR. SLAMET GARUTTAHUN 2020-2021

COVID-19 menginfeksi orang-orang dari semua kelompok umur, namun individu yang memiliki usia 60 tahun ke atas, bersama penyakit bawaan layaknya diabetes, penyakit paru obstruktif kronik, hipertensi, dan penyakit jantung, memiliki risiko lebih tinggi terkena infeksi. Risiko kematian pasien covid-19 diketahui juga meningkat pada individu yang memiliki penyakit penyerta. Penyakit penyerta pada pasien COVID-19 dinilai memiliki output yang lebih buruk dan dapat berujung pada kematian. Penyakit penyerta yang paling banyak di jumpai pada pasien COVID-19 di Indonesia ialah hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara hipertensi dengan tingkat mortalitas pada pasien COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang dilakukan di RSUD dr. Slamet Garut. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien yang terdiagnosis COVID-19 pada periode 2020-2021 dan memiliki penyakit penyerta hipertensi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari tanggal 2 hingga 28 Februari 2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 117 orang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder yaitu rekam medis pasien yang terkonfirmasi COVID-19 dengan hipertensi dan dirawat di RSUD dr.Slamet Garut Tahun 2020-2021. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Analisis data dengan Uji Chi-Square yang dilakukan menggunakan software SPSS 25. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara hipertensi dan mortalitas pasien COVID-19 (p=0,0870). Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara hipertensi dan mortalitas pasien COVID-19.References
