GAMBARAN FEAR OF MISSING OUT MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS TARUMANAGARA TAHUN 2022

Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) merupakan salah satu masalah yang kerap terjadi pada kaum muda. Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran banyak yang mengalami perubahan psikologis oleh karena mereka cenderung mempersepsikan pendidikan yang ditempuh dapat menyebabkan stres. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan mereka rentan mengalami FoMO. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat FoMO pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tarumanagara bedasarkan usia dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/i Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tarumanagara angkatan 2020 – 2022. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Fear of Missing Out scale (FoMOs) yang dibuat oleh Przybylski. Kuesioner terdiri dari 10 butir pernyataan dengan nilai reliabilitas ? = .87. Kuesioner disebarkan dalam bentuk Google Forms secara langsung pada saat pergantian kelas dan secara tidak langsung melalui grup angkatan. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan software IBM Statistics SPSS 26. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan total responden sebanyak 148 responden. Sebagian besar responden mengalami FoMO rendah (58,1%), diikuti dengan FoMO sedang (31,1%), dan FoMO tinggi (10,8%). Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, responden dengan jenis kelamin perempuan cenderung lebih tinggi mengalami FoMO. Sedangkan berdasarkan usia, responden yang berusia 18 dan 19 tahun cenderung lebih tinggi mengalami FoMO.References
