GAMBARAN KARAKTERISTIK IBU, STATUS GIZI, DAN PEMBERIAN MAKANAN PENDAMPING ASI PADA BADUTA DI LOKUS STUNTING KOTA MALANG

Prevalensi stunting Kota Malang berada diatas provinsi jawa timur. Stunting dapat dikurangi melalui peningkatan pendidikan orang tua, status sosial ekonomi rumah tangga, sanitasi, akses ke layanan kesehatan, keluarga berencana, dan praktik pemberian makan yang baik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik ibu, status gizi, dan pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) pada balita di Lokus Stunting Kota Malang. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian observasional dengan desain penelitian deskriptif analitik. Sampel penelitian adalah ibu balita yang memiliki balita berusia 6 – 24 bulan dengan resiko stunting sejumlah 65 orang. Penelitian dilakukan di 8 lokus stunting Kota Malang pada bulan September – Desember 2022. Hasil analisis chi-square karakteristik ibu menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara usia ibu dengan stunting balita 6 – 24 bulan (p = 0,013). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pekerjaan ibu dengan stunting balita (p = 0,431) dan jenis kelamin balita dengan kejadian stunting 6 – 24 bulan (p = 0,518). Gambaran pemberian MP-ASI menunjukkan bahwa sumber karbohidrat utama adalah nasi (98,7%), sumber protein hewani tertinggi berupa telur (50%) serta protein nabati berupa tahu (63,2%) dan tempe (61,8%). Sumber lemak tertinggi adalah minyak kelapa sawit (52,6%). Buah dan sayur yang dikonsumsi kurang bervariasi. Ada hubungan antara usia ibu dengan terjadinya stunting. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pekerjaan ibu dengan status gizi dan jenis kelamin balita. Diversifikasi konsumsi pangan pada pemberian MP ASI belum sepenuhnya diterapkan pada keluarga balita beresiko stunting.References
