FLASHCARD SEBAGAI MEDIA PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG CUCI TANGAN SABUN PADA ANAK-ANAK DI SAMARINDA

Diare adalah salah satu penyebab utama kematian pada anak-anak. Kasus diare di kota Samarinda mengalami peningkatan dalam tiga tahun terakhir. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah diare pada anak adalah mencuci tangan dengan sabun (CTPS). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media flashcard terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan cuci tangan pakai sabun pada siswa SDN 002 Samarinda Ilir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Intervensi penelitian melalui pendidikan kesehatan dengan media flashcard. Sampel penelitian adalah 32 siswa kelas VI SDN 002 Samarinda Ilir yang ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui pengisian kuesioner dan checklist. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Analisis univariat menunjukkan jumlah siswa yang memiliki pengetahuan baik dan terampil mempraktikkan cuci tangan pakai sabun bertambah pada saat posttest. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media flashcard terhadap pengetahuan(p-value= 0,023) dan keterampilan CTPS (p-value= 0,001) responden penelitian setelah menerima intervensi penelitian. Diharapkan adanya pengembangan dan penggunaan flashcard sebagai media pendidikan kesehatan dalam pelaksanaan program kesehatan terkait CTPS sebagai upaya pencegahan diare.References
